Logo and USDOT Decal

Your logo and your USDOT lines on one decal — designed together, cut as one piece, and applied to the door in one go, so the logo and the lettering land perfectly lined up every time. Sold single or as a pair — pick one decal for one door, or the pair that covers both at a better per-decal price. Most orders ship in 2–3 working days, and local customers are welcome to collect.

What you get

• Your decal, single or as a pair — your logo with your USDOT, MC and company lines laid out underneath it, exactly as you arrange them in the designer. A pair is two identical decals, one for each door — and ordering quantity 2 of a pair gets you four.
• One application per door — each decal ships pre-masked with transfer tape, so everything goes on as a single piece with the spacing already right. No measuring the logo against the lettering on a ladder.
• Cut to the artwork — no rectangle, no background. The blade follows your logo and your lettering.

The USDOT tool

In the designer, one click adds your USDOT number, another adds your MC number, another your company name — each arriving at a 2" letter height, the size federal legibility guidance is usually read as (visible from 50 feet). Type your real numbers in, move the lines where you want them, and resize if your state allows it. USDOT lettering is regulated by your state — size requirements shown are general guidance only, and you are solely responsible for choosing a size that meets your state and federal requirements.

Two ways to make it

• Full color print — your logo printed exactly as it is — colors, gradients, photos — with the lettering printed in any color you pick, laminated, and cut right around the shape of the layout — including through any see-through gaps in your artwork.
• One color cut vinyl — logo and lettering cut together from a single sheet of solid color vinyl. Every gap shows the truck’s paint. This is the classic fleet look, and it matches our USDOT lettering exactly.

Why our cut vinyl costs a little more

Our one color decals are cut from ORACAL 751 cast vinyl — a premium 7-year cast film. Most online decal sellers ship calendered vinyl, which is a cheaper film that shrinks back from its edges and goes brittle in a few seasons; several of them sell cast vinyl as a paid “premium” upgrade. Cast is what we use as standard. It is thinner, it conforms to curves and rivets instead of tenting over them, and it stays put. On a truck door that works for a living, that is the difference between lettering that still looks new in year five and lettering you are scraping off in year two.

Every price above is for the pair — both doors, at a better per-decal rate. A single decal for one door starts at $19.99. These are the exact prices, not estimates, and your own decal is priced instantly in the designer as you build it.

Sizing — you design, the price follows

There is no size to pick. Lay out your logo and lettering on the design canvas and the price follows the exact size of the finished decal — the outline of what actually gets cut, shown live as you work. Nobody pays for empty canvas. Decals run from 6" up to 52" wide in full color, and up to 22" wide in one color cut vinyl — solid color vinyl comes on a 22" roll, which is what sets that limit. A 16" x 12" decal suits most pickup doors; semi doors usually take 20" x 14" or bigger.

Artwork

A vector logo file is ideal — PDF, AI or SVG. If all you have is a picture, upload the largest, sharpest version you own. One color cut vinyl needs artwork that reduces to a clean silhouette — a photograph cannot be cut from a sheet of vinyl, and we will tell you before you order if your artwork won’t cut cleanly.
