Every shirt is dyed on its own

Tie-dye is made one garment at a time, so no two shirts are identical — the swirl, the spread and exactly where each color lands vary from shirt to shirt. The photos show the colorway, not the particular shirt you will receive. That is the nature of the product and part of why people want it.

Designing on a busy garment

Give your artwork an outline. A tie-dye shirt already has color everywhere, and a design without a clear edge can sink into the pattern underneath. A white or black outline, or setting the design on a solid shape, keeps it legible from across a field. We print a white underbase on every tie-dye shirt so your colors stay true over the dye — that is included, not an extra.

How ordering works

One design, one size grid: enter a quantity for each size and the whole run shares the same design. The price a shirt falls as the run grows — $21.25 for one, $13.50 each at ten ($135.00 for the run), and $12.25 each at fifty and up. Team order? Add a name and number field to your design and fill in the roster: every shirt prints its own name and number, at the same per-shirt price — personalization is never an upcharge here.

These are the exact prices the cart charges, not estimates — the quantity is your whole size run added together, and the designer above prices your exact run instantly.

Add a second print location

One print location is included in every price above — front or back, your choice. Adding the back costs less per shirt as the run grows; sleeves are a flat add per sleeve, per shirt.

Print quality

We print DTF (direct-to-film) transfers on our own wide-format equipment and press every shirt in our own shop — full color with fine detail, a soft hand, and a wash-fast finish. The print is sized to the shirt, too: bigger sizes get a proportionally bigger print.

Turnaround

Orders ship in 1-5 business days, depending on blank availability. Tie-dye blanks come in from the dyer for each run rather than sitting on a shelf, so give a large order a little extra room — call or message us with your date and we will tell you straight whether it lands.

About the preview

The design tool shows a mockup, not a proof. Your artwork is placed over a photo of the garment so you can judge size and position at a glance — treat it as a rough placement guide. The finished print can sit a little differently on the shirt than it looks on screen. If exact placement matters for your job, get in touch before you order and we will talk it through.
